Let me get straight to the point. If you are looking for ways to make easy money or 'get rich quick' online, you are in the wrong place!
How to make money on the Internet is a much-hyped topic. The web is replete with scammers selling the "secrets" of how to get rich quick. Astute people who are searching for genuine opportunities to make money online, will ask them the obvious question: 'If you are so smart, why aren't you doing this yourself?'
Let me clarify one other thing. Why am I spending time to write this article to tell you about how to make money online? Why am I not spending my time doing what I am preaching? First, I am doing what I am preaching. Secondly, I would like to share something new with others where I think they can be successful making money online. I refer to this later in this article.
Before I wrote this article I checked to see who's really making money online. My Google search on this topic for material published within the last six months turned up 67 results for ‘who’s making money online’. My Yahoo search showed 3,070 links. To my amazement, however, most of the articles listed in the searches were published before 2004!(even though I filtered my results for the last six months). Several of them are trying to sell ebooks and 'secrets' about ‘how to make big money from home’, ‘quick ways to make money’ and such topics. A few of them related isolated cases of how some successful people were making big money. More detailed research revealed numerous complaints about how little money most people were actually making online and how threatened they were feeling.
